Three books on professional ethics

Michael D. Bayles, Professional Ethics, 2nd ed., Belmont, Calif.: Wadsworth, 1989. A brief, classic textbook. Highly recommended.

 

Daryl Koehn, The Ground of Professional Ethics, London: Routledge, 1994. A readable treatment of the philosophical foundations of professional ethics.

 

John Rowan and Samuel Zinaich, Ethics for the Professions, Belmont, Calif.: Wadsworth/Thomson, 2003. An anthology of readings on ethical issues that cut across professions as well as issues in specific professions. Intended for an undergraduate academic course.
